I recently had the pleasure of volunteering at the
Japan Cat Network near Hikone, about an hour north of Osaka. This is a one-of-a kind shelter, run by two Americans wanting to make a difference in the lives of Japan's street cats. Not only do they shelter about 50 cats and kittens, they run a Trap Neuter and Release program (TNR) that is helping to insure the safety of Japan's homeless kitties and lessen the strain on local communities. Many people contact them if they find abandoned kittens and Japan Cat Network works at getting these kitties healthy and then adopted.
I took lots of photos of these cuties with the hopes that in seeing these pictures, people will want to adopt or foster these kitties. If you can't do either, perhaps you could donate or volunteer your time giving these cats love!
Please contact
Japan Cat Network with any questions!
