Last week I met with Bug to take some shots for his newly started modeling portfolio, this was his first attempt at a photo shoot, as well as my first attempt to capture a male model. I think the results proved well for both of us :)

Hello World! Sorry I've been MIA for a while... well at least on MoFoto, but I have been keeping up with our Japan blog: Boltonsans.blogspot.com please find much up to date stuff there! I am also keeping up with My Daily Pic on Flickr!
We've been living in Osaka, Japan for about 7 weeks now! Jeff and I are working for ECC teaching English. The work is great and it's really fun meeting and talking with so many Japanese people! We haven't made it out of the city too much yet, but right now is Sakura season- when the cherry blossoms are blooming so I've been inspired to get out and take some pics! Last week we went to Kyoto for the day and this weekend we plan to visit Nara as well.
Many pinhole and holga images are in the works and I hope to have some great shots to show you soon.
I've already been feeling the itch to take some people pics, so if you or anyone you know is in the Kansai area please contact me! I'm not sure how people here would feel about a "trash the dress" shoot, but I would love to get my hands on a willing couple!

Little Amir

you could say little amir wasn't too into his 2 month old photo shoot, but he played along like a good sport! sharma's little one came into the world during the snow storm we had in december. he is full of warmth and love, congrats proud mama! can't wait to see you when we get back and amir is walking around!

i stopped by the garden on sunday night with jamie to see the beautiful lantern send off into the pond. it was rainy, but not miserable. there was chinese music playing and lots of people huddled together under the awnings. oh! and the lion also made an appearance...
