back in action!

well, i am now officially married and honeymooned and less then a week away from being done with our wedding! i say that it the best way possible of course :) still we are headed to iowa for a second reception and jeff's family reunion this weekend.
i'll be posting some images from our wedding and honeymoon here of course, but might stick to using our wedding blog for the majority of our wedding stuff...

i am stoked to be so lucky this year and cant wait to get to work on other peoples weddings and other photography projects i have in mind this summer. stay tuned for those...

on another exciting front i finally purchased my first Totally Rad Action set, i bought their brand new set- The Revenge and am loving all of it!
i played around with some of Jamie & Todd's wedding images and here are the results... still have lots to learn... let me know what you think?
before: these images are lovely as is, but the TRA2 really add that punch that conveys more emotion and interest to the shots, they stand alone and would make beautiful art!

wedding collages!

thought i would do up a little collage full of jenny and patricks wonderful wedding images... this collage is 30x30 inches and has about 300 images in it, the small images are about .5-1.5 inches, so pretty small, but fun to get lost in when looking up close!
most people stick with a black background and less images, but i thought i'd spice this one up a bit with their accent color :)
these collages are great for showing off all your favorite images and memories... they can be custom designed in many ways!

fireworks = fireworks

guess you could say there were fire works at jenny & patricks wedding! to say the least! after witnessing these fireworks and seeing the pictures, i knew i wanted them at our wedding... sadly i checked and we cant have fireworks, not even sparklers :( boo...
oh well, at least i can enjoy jen and pat's images :) more on the way soon you guys!

Jenny & Patrick's pre wedding sneak peak!

first off, thank you jenny and pat for the wonderful memories in puerto vallarta! i had a great time running around with you and meeting your family and friends! since jenny and pat live down in PV they had the chance to scope out some outstanding places for their wedding, which you will soon see, for now enjoy a few pics from their pre wedding shoot, they had a special place in mind, on the grounds of their favorite restaurant down the road...






after their pre wedding shoot we headed to their ceremony site for the rehearsal run-through and then rehearsal dinner at the villa they rented for the week of their wedding and for their reception, just up the road from their favorite beach/ceremony site. ... note their oh so cute mexican dog, coco :)

well... not quite the wedding yet.. first some images from their pre-wedding shoot :) i was so happy to return to mexico again! this time jamie came along and helped me shoot the first of 2 weddings i had in puerto vallarta!
brandi and eddie are the sweetest couple, and they planned a beautiful intimate wedding getaway!
we first met up at the beautiful Barceló La Jolla de Mismaloya hotel where they were staying and got to know each other and take some beautiful images!
