Beautiful Betsey

i've admired betsey since we first met. she was my instructor while we traveled abroad and learned about marine things in hawaii, fiji, and australia in 2001. it was a trip of a lifetime and actually the start of my photography passion. it's great that we now share the same hometown and i was honored to snap some belly pics for her the day of her baby shower. she has this great apartment with a vintage feel and i could have shot there all day!

Pinholin'

yay! my first successful role of film on the pinhole! here are the blog worthy images :)
enjoy!

i soon realized that beginning this whole "slow photography" thing in the winter wasn't the best choice! this images was 8 minutes and has a little motion because the gorillapod was wrapped around a railing and i assume the wind or the bridge wasn't rock steady...

Newport Blues

i think thats an appropriate title for these images taken with my holga (medium format film toy cam). i went out to visit ahna the last weekend in october and we were so lucky to have amazing fabulous oregon coast weather! i still can't get over how perfect it was!

this image is composed of 3 overlapping images...

Ooh la la! Our Paris Photoshoot pics are up!

as you might have seen from a previous post here, Jeff and I did a "day after shoot" in Paris while on our honeymoon. The fabulous Nicole Wickens was shooting a wedding in France and happened to be in Paris when we were, so we made a plan and packed up our wedding clothes and hit the streets of Paris with Nicole and her husband Brad. This was probably the most memorable part of our honeymoon as we ran around Paris and all the major landmarks and received "félicitations !" from the passers by. There are hundreds of awesome pics on Nicole's site here. Here are just a few that Nicole had posted, but I might have to add a few more favorites in the future...
enjoy!

... were married at the downtown Hilton Hotel at the end of September. Thinking back on this loving wedding I hear laughter, lots of laughter, in the ceremony, for their awesome surprise first dance, and of course from the Photobooth! You can view all of their images here and see some of my favorites below with commentary:)
